ALGAE OR SLIPPERY POOL LINER

Adjust the pH level between 7.2 and 7.8. Add 350g of shock treatment 70% per 10,000 L of water. Pour in 150ml of destructive algaecide 40% per 10,000 L of water. Wait 3 hours then brush the walls and bottom of the pool. Wait 12 hours then vacuum. Wash out by doing a backwash. |
Never run out of sanitizer. Each week, as a preventive measure, pour 35ml of destructive algaecide 40% per 10,000 L of water. |
| Black algae: lack of sanitizer (chlorine) |
Same solution as for green, brown or yellow algae. Brush the walls more vigorously however, as black algae forms layers. The more you wait, the harder it will be to remove. |
