IntelliChlor Salt System

The Pentair IntelliChlor® Salt System uses common table salt to generate all the chlorine a pool needs—safely, effectively, and automatically. It delivers the same sanitation performance as traditional chlorine without the need to buy, transport or store chemical products. IntelliChlor offers full diagnostics, easy push‑button controls, automated protection features and seamless communication with Pentair automation systems.

• IntelliChlor IC40 (Product Code: IC40 Combo) — For inground pools up to 40,000 gal / 151,000 L; Minimum operating temperature: 12°C; Daily output: 1.40 lb; Voltage: 120V or 230V hardwired; Installation: Horizontal; Replacement Cell: 520912; Includes: IC40 Cell + Pentair IntelliChlor Power Centre 520910 (Canadian version).

Pentair recommends installing this system with a timer to ensure the unit is always powered off when the pump is off, adding protection beyond the built‑in flow switch.

Warranty Coverage: Pentair Salt Systems include a 2‑Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty is void if the system is damaged due to improper installation, misuse, ice or chemical imbalance. Labour, water loss, chemicals and incidental damages are not covered.
