Save Time, Money AND Hard Work With an Eliminator XTreme Cover! Proudly Made in Canada!
A blue mesh line runs down the center of the cover. During the winter, ice and snow weigh it down in the center. As the snow melts, water filters through the mesh line and the cover rises. When the ice has melted, the cover stretches tightly across the pool. Any debris, leaves or dirt dry up and blow away, leaving your cover clean and free of debris. Simply unhook the straps, rinse it off and fold it up. Your pool water stays leaf‑free. No more pumping water off your cover! No more piles of leaves! A superior above‑ground winter cover unlike any other. Not for use with soft‑sided pools (Intex, Bestway, etc).
IMPORTANT: Do not lower water level before installing. Read installation instructions.

No — Eliminator Winter Covers are for above‑ground pools only.
What about decking?
For full decks: cover can stretch across the pool and deck if the walkway is at least 36 in. Eye bolts may be needed. For partial decks: vertical anchors can switch to horizontal.
Will the cover go around a fence kit?
Yes — in most cases it will.
Why don’t I have to drain my pool?
The return jet must be plugged, and water should be lowered to the bottom of the skimmer screw line to insert the dam. Whether you use the dam or not, the skimmer drain must stay open. Add foam/solar blanket to protect the skimmer.
What if I have an in‑jet light?
Remove the bulb and insert a #9 plug quickly — no need to drain below the return.
Will drilling into posts weaken them?
No — it is similar to attaching a fence kit. Screws are 3/4 in.
Can I use my old cover or a leaf net on top?
Not necessary, but in high‑leaf areas it can help.
Will bungees collapse my pool?
No — the vertical bungees apply minimal stress.
Why can’t I use hardware‑store bungees?
They are incompatible — Eliminator covers use a different engineered system.
How long will the cover last?
Up to 7 years on average due to reduced wind stress and no sitting water/chemicals.
Do I have to plug my return jet?
Yes — water must stay above the return. Recommended height: bottom of skimmer.
Do I need the skimmer dam?
Optional — only for maximum water conservation.
How long is installation? How many people?
With 2 people: less than 45 minutes.
Important: Eliminator XTreme Winter Covers are not safety covers.
