New recruitment campaign 2020

Montreal, February 19, 2020 – As the summer recruitment season approaches, Club Piscine Super Fitness is using its creativity and enthusiasm to invite job seekers and students to “join the club.” In fact, more than 250 full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions will be available in the 42 franchised stores across Quebec in the coming weeks. This new initiative aims to build brand appeal and strengthen employee engagement. To join the Club, some 20 employees participated in conceptualizing the campaign, in which they star in the numerous advertisements to be released this spring. They were tasked with expressing and representing Club Piscine Super Fitness’s mission, values, and the various open positions.

Welcome to the Club

The recruitment initiative comes to life thanks to the new platform joinleclub.ca which allows potential candidates to stay informed about several aspects of the jobs offered, including the city, responsibilities and benefits offered.

Together, they covered a total of 2,333 km on a 1,000 km route, completing the journey between Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and Montreal in just 36 hours. Little sleep, a lot of rain, but immense pride in having taken on this challenge, in having been proud ambassadors for the company, and in having raised over $35,000 for the Pierre Lavoie Grand Challenge Foundation. Three elementary schools are also sponsored by the Club Piscine Super Fitness team: École Saint-Anselme (Montreal), École Saint-Paul (Outaouais), and École du Phénix (Estrie).

Club Piscine wants its employees to be 100% ready to do whatever it takes to work this summer: ready to give thousands of smiles, ready to test millions of liters of water, ready to welcome a flood of customers, and much more. In a context where customs and realities differ from one region to another, an additional challenge has complicated the situation: finding the common ground that unites each store. An internal survey was distributed to identify this shared reality, which became the starting point for the campaign.

To double our efforts

The trend is the same across Quebec: employers are looking for workers, in addition to working to retain those already in place. In this context, it is all the more important to develop strong and differentiating strategies to attract potential candidates.

“We see a significant difference compared to recent years, and that’s why we decided to double our efforts this season. We wanted to highlight the pleasure of working here, the commitment, two of our core values ​​– it’s a sprint in the spring to bring this philosophy to life through our recruitment campaign,” explains Véronique Dion.

The campaign will be rolled out online and through digital signage, and will be available on a variety of media, including outdoor banners, freestanding banners, flyers, and more. Strategic planning was initiated in collaboration with the firm Kuat and enabled Club Piscine to develop a strong and evocative employer brand, a key pillar of the campaign's success. The visuals and campaign concept were developed by the in-house marketing team in collaboration with the agency Rouge Cardinal.
