Bois-des-Filion, June 30, 2022 – This spring has been synonymous with generosity and philanthropy at the Quebec-based company Club Piscine Super Fitness. Three major causes were supported by the various franchises and the head office of this leader and specialist in outdoor pools: Opération Enfant Soleil , the CHUS Foundation , and LeGrand défi Pierre Lavoie . With particularly strong family values and a philanthropic mission aimed at helping families in need and ensuring the well-being of children, it is not surprising that the three organizations supported by Club Piscine Super Fitness primarily assist children and their families.
Grand Pierre Lavoie Challenge - 1000 km
As spots for the 1000 KM Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie were filling up fast, Jean Ravenda, owner of Club Piscine Super Fitness in Gatineau, seized the opportunity and formed one of the 215 participating cycling teams. His colleagues and friends, Marco Bernier, Nicolas Dussault, Jacques Naubert, Simon Latreille, and Maxime Filiault, joined him at the last minute!
Together, they covered a total of 2,333 km on a 1,000 km route, completing the journey between Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and Montreal in just 36 hours. Little sleep, a lot of rain, but immense pride in having taken on this challenge, in having been proud ambassadors for the company, and in having raised over $35,000 for the Pierre Lavoie Grand Challenge Foundation. Three elementary schools are also sponsored by the Club Piscine Super Fitness team: École Saint-Anselme (Montreal), École Saint-Paul (Outaouais), and École du Phénix (Estrie).
CHUS Foundation
Between 2018 and 2022, the Club Piscine Super Fitness store in Sherbrooke launched a major fundraising campaign for the CHUS Foundation. Finally, at the beginning of June, thanks to the support of employees and loyal customers, the Sherbrooke franchise was honored to present a $100,000 donation to the CHUS Foundation. This significant sum will be invested in the purchase of equipment for a physical activity room to be built in the child psychiatry unit of the future Mother-Child and Emergency Centre (CMEU) at Fleurimont Hospital, part of the CIUSSS de l'Estrie - CHUS. This new physical activity room will benefit young patients and serve as a complementary aid to various medical approaches.
Operation Enfant Soleil
Club Piscine Super Fitness recently celebrated its 11th consecutive year of participation in the Opération Enfant Soleil Telethon. Since then, nearly $750,000 has been donated to this worthy cause thanks to the generosity of all franchisees and the loyalty of their customers.
In addition, as a Enfant Soleil company, Club Piscine Super Fitness is committed to two other major initiatives:
Chlorine Smile Campaign - Every year, this initiative donates $0.50 to Opération Enfant Soleil for every 15kg tub of Club Piscine chlorine sold. Quebecers are therefore invited to purchase a tub of chlorine at one of the 40 Club Piscine stores in the province.
Maison Enfant Soleil – Club Piscine Super Fitness is proud to once again partner with this initiative. In addition to promoting the sale of digital tickets in its stores and on its various digital platforms, the Quebec-based company is offering one of the most prestigious secondary prizes: a Solstice spa valued at $9,500. This year, to celebrate Maison Enfant Soleil's 30th anniversary, the Quebec flagship also provided the Club Piscine terrace, complete with a full outdoor kitchen, BBQ, dining set, and sectional sofa. The entire package is valued at $16,500.
Club Piscine Super Fitness is a local company that gives back to local organizations. With its family values and philanthropic mission, it's easy and pleasant to rely on this leader and outdoor pool specialist.
