Water analysis

Water Hardness
Water hardness depends on the calcium and magnesium content of the water.
Different factors affect the water hardness test results such alkalinity, pH and chlorine levels. It is therefore important to balance these before testing for hardness.
  • To increase hardness : use calcium hardness.
  • To reduce hardness : use Control Cop or any other product that removes minerals from water.
  • The desired parameter is 180 to 240 ppm, an ideal reading would be 200 ppm.
