Calculate your daily energy need

You want to know how many calories you should consume per day? Here is a simple formula that will help you.
Body Mass (BM) X Activity Factor (AF) = Energy need (EN)
First select your Activity Factor (AF) :
  • Sedentary = 1.2
  • Lightly active = 1.4
  • Moderately active = 1.6
  • Very active = 1.7
  • Extremely active = 1.9
Second, find your Body Mass (BM) :
Woman : 247 – (2.67X age) + (401,5 X height meter) + ( 8.6 weight in KG) Man : 296 – (3.8 X age) + (456,4 X height meter) + ( 10.12 weight in KG)
To complete, apply to formula.
Example: a 36 year old woman, that weight 65 Kg and measure 1.67 meter, that some what is lightly active.
BM = 247 - (2.67 x 36) + (401.5 x 1.67 m) + (8.6 x 65 kg) = 1380.39 kcal
AF = 1.55
1380.39 (BM) x 1,55 (AF) = 2140 kcal/day (EN)
