Recommended for use on Pools 12' Round, 15' Round and 12' X 18' Oval in size. For aluminum and/or resin/steel pool use only, do not use with soft sided (Intex) pools.
Note: This unit is to be hardwired and serviced by a licensed electrician. Refer to owner’s manual for proper installation parameters and warranty criteria.
PLEASE NOTE: This heater is not to be used on any soft sided above ground pool or in any salt water pool.
Warranty: 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty
Warranty Coverage: K-Star Electric Heaters come with a 1 Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty with only 90 Days Limited Warranty on Heating Elements. The manufacturer warrants their electric heaters against defects on workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if the electric heater is damaged as a result of improper installation or use, or if damage is a result of ice or chemical imbalance. This warranty does not cover any labour charges, cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other damages that may occur.
Start a Warranty Claim:To begin a claim please email [email protected] with a photo showing the defect(s)/damage to your K-Star Electric Heater and include a brief explanation of what occurred.
Only had this heater for barely two seasons and it’s stopped working. Now it’s out of warranty as well. It doesn’t heat very fast and is expensive to use if you want mid-high 80’s water temp.
Takes 3-4 days to heat our 15' above ground pool to 87 degrees but once heated I only need to run 12 hours at night when electricity is cheaper to keep temperature. We actually use the pool now that we aren't freezing.
It heats our soft sided pool perfectly but when I bought it I didn't realize that the supplies to hook it up would cost me as much as the heater.
Yes, I do heat my soft sided pool with this heater with no problems. I live in Canada and in three days I had the pool up to 88 Degrees. I had to hook up a Sump Pump to it to get the P.S.I. to run the heater and a Ball Valve to control the volume of water. I just drop the pump in and run the return line to the pool. When I use the pool, I just take the sump out of the Water.It works awesome.
Mine works great! Was easy to install too :)
Don't look like much but my hot tub is a very warm place to be now.
