Warranty Coverage: Hayward Sand Filters come with a 1 Year Limited Manufacturers Warranty. The manufacturer of this filter warrants this filter against defects on workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if this filter is damaged as a result of improper installation or use, or if damage is a result of ice. Warranty does not cover any labour charges, cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other damages that may occur.

Works amazing
Easy to install and winterize, especially with Filtra Balls. The pressure gauge may be sensible to extreme cold. It was left in the pool's shed last winter and at the end of April it was showing about 40 PSI when not yet installed. Got a new one for 3$ from a local hardware store, not very trusted so I have opened the defective one and adjusted by hand - like new :) The point is: this filter valve is very easy to remove so at the pool closure better move it somewhere protected from the extreme cold.
It’s a works great. However to pressure it’s rated for is different then what showed up and I emailed for a reply and didn’t get one. Also I ordered the filter balls and what an amazing deal! Noticed a few differences right away. Wish it came with a bag to wash them in once in a while.
