We absolutely love our new pool robot! We did so much research and ultimately landed on the Aqua Products Evo 614 IQ. I love the app and how we can choose our cleaning cycle. It cleans the waterline well and does our stairs which are built in. It has some difficulty cleaning the top step but that’s because it’s quite shallow. We have a 16’x32’ in ground pool and the cord has plenty of length to clean even when it’s plugged in 8’ away from the pool in the pool shed. The robot seems to clean randomly and hasn’t found a pattern or routine to clean every section of the pool (and I don’t know if it will “learn” the shape of the pool to hit every spot). However, the remote control feature in the app is perfect to direct the robot if it misses a spot because you can easily steer it when needed. It has two brushes, one on the front and one on the back, which was a feature we were looking for, with strong suction in the middle. When doing some research, we read that some robots may flip over if they didn’t have enough suction on the wall, but not with this robot! My partner and I watched the robot go up the wall, right where the jet from the pump comes out (for reference, we have a strong 1.5 horsepower pool pump) and the robot was blown off the wall. The robot did not flip over or get stuck upside down. It took a couple seconds to reorient itself, but it did not get stuck upside down, and continued on cleaning. The robot’s retrieval system is super easy to use, literally just press a button in the app, and it’s not heavy to lift out of the pool. We were initially concerned that the filter wasn’t going to be fine enough to collect small debris or dirt but boy were we wrong! It seems to collect even the smallest of particles and we are very satisfied. It makes cleaning the pool a breeze and we don't have to spend hours cleaning the pool by hand anymore. We got our Aqua Products Evo 614 IQ on sale and I highly recommend it!!
